On her tour of the facilities, Dr Alice Chishick who is part of The Chichester Alliance of Medical Practices, the group of GPs running the site explained they also manage the community services, reaching more than 3,000 of the most vulnerable people in their own homes.
Mrs Keegan said: “The fantastic team at Tangmere, led by Jenna, are doing an exceptional job to vaccinate the local community. I was hugely impressed by the efficiency of all the staff and volunteers who are getting through a huge volume of people every day and have now given more than 17,000 jabs at the site.
“I know we are all so grateful for their relentless efforts to protect their community, and I look forward to visiting the centre again for a village event when life returns to normal.”
