Biker collides with grit lorry
The female rider was travelling towards Hastings when the accident happened at the Glyne Gap roundabout on Sunday (January 3) just before 4pm.
The lorry was spraying grit behind and to the right of its passage. As the lorry circled slowly round the roundabout the motorcycle tried to overtake, realising too late the gritting lorry was not turning off.

PC Dave Catt, of Polegate's Road Policing Team, said the lorry had done nothing wrong, though his route contradicted the Highway Code. He said: "When overtaking a gritting lorry, do be careful, and always allow plenty of space. They travel at slow speeds and they may not always be in the right position.
"These two were incredibly lucky to survive."
