Claremont Senior School: in the village, presents the West End musical Back to the 80’s on Thursday December 1 and Friday 2 at 7.15pm. There will be a gala performance on Saturday December 3, with a drinks reception at 7pm. Tickets for Thursday and Friday are £7.50 adults and £5 children. All tickets for the Gala performance are £15. To reserve a seat contact the school office on 01580 830396.
Cricket: We may have cricket back in Bodiam next season. it is very hard to run a club in a small village, but to me cricket is part of village life, with a nice tea and a good win, or perhaps a good cry in the Castle Inn over a beer.

Wreath: laying ceremonies take place at the village war memorial at around 12.15pm, after the 10.58 service at St Giles.
The church would like you to have fun with the church organ. It needs to be exercised and played regularly. Please switch it on and try to play each note a few times.
Alan Batter: of Bodiam Castle, has a big birthday on November 13 when he will be 75. As he said, ‘I do not have the best of life but now I can watch the BBC without having to pay for a licence fee and I will give the licence money to the great National Trust.

The Bodiam to Sandhurst Road ws closed from October 31 - November 2 due to telephone cable work. Stagecoach was told and that is it. Come on ESCC, sort yourselves out if you can and sort out the grass cutting.
