CHILDREN dressed up as mythological Gods and Goddesses as part of an ancient Greek day.
Year-three students at English Martyrs Catholic Primary School, in Derwent Drive, Goring, were also given the chance to try on armour, take part in Olympic-themed games and sample traditional Greek food, courtesy of Meze Meze in Lancing.
Teacher Elizabeth Messina-Reeve said: “The kids absolutely loved it.”
History workshop provider, Portals to the Past, visited the school for the day to support the learning the children had done in class.
