Mother of four left stunned by a Lancing bank’s stance on change
Julie Gardner-Stanbridge, 34, of Peveril Close, Sompting, went into the Lancing branch of Natwest last Wednesday to pay her children’s pocket money into their individual accounts, when she was told counting out the coins took too long. They said in the future she should go to Natwest in Worthing and use their change machine.
Julie said: “My children couldn’t understand why mummy was being told off for paying the money in.

Julie took five amounts of money into the bank, one for each child, with a fifth amount of £40 to be paid across the four accounts.
