The exhibition attracted a lot of attention and resulted in a great deal of interest in joining this friendly club, which was formed just over three years ago and strives to be different from the normal camera clubs.
Dennis Hunt, vice-chairman and programme secretary, is one of the founder members.

Although there was a bit of a slow start, shoppers gradually started showing an interest and eventually there was a list of nearly 20 people interested in possible membership.
Mr Hunt said: “These names will be followed up in the run up to the new season and we will be holding another exhibition in August, as the new season starts in September.
“Although print sales are not the intention of the exhibition, at least four orders were taken and there were enquiries for others.”

Hide AdMr Hunt will be putting on a personal display and sale of his photographs as part of Shoreham and Southwick Rotary Club’s grand spring charity art and craft fair at the Shoreham Centre on April 29 from 10am to 4pm.
The fair will be raising money for The Corner House, a mental health resource centre in Southwick.
Adur Photographic Society is different because it does not have competitions. The aim is to provide tuition, guidance and advice to all levels of photographers, starting with the basics of photography like exposure, shutter speed control and composition, and leading on to reasonably advanced techniques.
The club meets fortnightly on Tuesdays from September to the end of May, 7.30pm to 10pm, in the Garden Room at Southwick Community Centre, Southwick Street, Southwick.
