PROM: The Littlehampton Academy puts rolls out the red carpet
Scores of teenagers from The Littlehampton Academy ditched their blazers and ties in favour of something more Hollywood than secondary school.
The Year-11s from across the school slipped into dazzling dresses and snazzy suits to celebrate their prom last week.

Brianna Burns and George Silverson-Moss both turned 16 just hours before the academy’s prom.
They were each given a special rendition of Happy Birthday by their fellow students on the evening.
Brianna, who had been with the school since she was 11, admitted it was one of the best birthday parties she had ever had.
She said: “The whole night was just amazing, it really was.

This year’s prom was bathed in vintage style, with a vast majority of students being taken to their prom destination – Fontwell Park Racecourse – in one of six buses.
All six vintage buses – five open-tops and one closed-top – completed a lap of honour through Littlehampton, with students waving and cheering as they went through the town.
However, some of the teenagers decided to make their own way to the celebrations, with some arriving at the race- course in limousines.

The party lasted until 11pm. During the night, students voted on the Prom King and Queen, with this royals being Callum Block and Francesca Day.
