Crowds lined the whole of Steyning High Street and there was a buzz of excitement as the Italian vehicles arrived in town.
They had already visited Horsham, Billingshurst, Pulborough and Storrington, with Steyning being the second to last stop on the tour.

“Steyning was abuzz with large crowds, a French market, the sunshine and ultimately, the Italian cars.”
The whole event on Sunday kicked off at around 10.30am, with a French market and visitors crowded in to view all that was on offer.
The laden stalls were more than enough to keep people occupied while waiting for the main event – the arrival of the Italian supercars.

Reina said: “The road became full of people, all trying to calculate the best spot from which to view the spectacle.
“The clock ticked by, the anticipation rose and then suddenly the roar of engines as they rounded the corner to pounce on Steyning.”
Parking marshall Garry Mortimer-Cook had quite a task, ensuring the magnificent vehicles were parked up with enough room to allow the crowds to walk round and inspect them.

Reina added: “The 45-minute stopover was over all too quickly and it was time to release the mighty machines and send them on their way to Henfield, the last port of call for the district rally.
“Now it was time to visit one of the many eateries open to enjoy a spot to eat, a glass of wine or a cup of coffee to talk about the day the Italian cars came to Steyning – a fantastic, happy occasion.
