Camber Sands car parks full as people head to the beach
In a tweet, Rother District Council said: “The car parks at Camber Sands are now full.
“If you are travelling to the beach please consider other destinations and help us to keep the roads clear for local residents and emergency service vehicles.”

Hide AdThe news comes as the UK braces itself for one of the hottest days on record as Saharan air is expected to push temperatures above 38C (100F).
The Met Office said the heatwave is expected to stay until at least next Tuesday (August 11).
On June 25, police closed the main road leading to Camber Sands as people descended on the beach during the heatwave.
Rother District Council decided to shut Camber Road at the junction with the A259 due to the volume of traffic heading to the beach
