Horsham Jogger and parkrun director to make 50th with 100k trek
The Trailwalker course was originally a training run for the Ghurkhas and takes place on the South Downs Way from Queen Elizabeth Country Park in Petersfield to Brighton Racecourse and has climbs equivalent of Snowdon and Ben Nevis.
The event supports the Ghurkha Welfare Trust and Oxfam, who organise the event.

Hide AdThe aim is to complete it in a team of four in under 30 hours. Liberman’s team, Life Begins at 50 are made up of Horsham Joggers and previously experienced Trailwalkers.
Liberman said: “After doing three London marathons when I was younger and taking on the NUTS challenge last year, I felt it was time to do something a bit different!
“I have always loved the beautiful South Downs and to walk it on my 50th birthday was too good a chance to pass up. Plus I’m doing it with some great people and a fantastic support crew.”
